Jenna Engel, Founder and CEO
Jenna has been a hairstylist for over half of her life and has been immersed in the beauty industry even longer. For the past 15 years, her greatest passion has been education, teaching stylists across Western Canada. She has built a reputation as a successful young stylist and entrepreneur, earning national recognition for her achievements.
Jenna has trained with some of the world’s best, including Vivienne Mackinder, Damien Carney, and the prestigious Toni & Guy academies, and has refined her skills at many of the renowned Vidal Sassoon Academies. Jenna is the owner of Plush Salon & Spa, and is expanding her impact in the industry by launching The Plush Academy to share her expertise!
Shea Forsyth, Educator
Shea is a skilled and passionate hairstylist with over a decade of experience in the industry. Since starting his career in 2012, he has honed his expertise in cutting, styling, extensions, barbering, and color techniques, creating stunning transformations for his clients.
Shea spent two years at Plush Salon, where he developed a strong foundation for his craft. He then spent seven years in downtown Calgary, establishing himself as a trusted and sought-after stylist among the city's discerning clientele.
Dedicated to continuous growth, Shea has sought out numerous learning opportunities to refine his skills. He trained at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, where he advanced his techniques and gained invaluable insights from leading industry experts. Shea also traveled to Minneapolis to study barbering with Mensdept, further expanding his skill set.
A year-long stay in Japan allowed Shea to immerse himself in a new culture, drawing inspiration and gaining fresh perspectives that continue to shape his work today.
With his diverse skill set, commitment to excellence, and passion for hairstyling, Shea consistently delivers exceptional results. Whether it's a trendy haircut, vibrant color, or expert styling, his clients can always count on him to provide top-tier service, leaving the salon feeling confident and satisfied.
Tammy Bosch, Educator
Tammy is a skilled perming, barbering, and cutting specialist with over 45 years of experience in the hair industry. Having spent 20 years as the owner of Mall Hair, Tammy has built a reputation for expertise and dedication to her craft. Tammy made the exciting decision to join her daughter in establishing a luxurious, successful hair salon and spa in Medicine Hat, further expanding her legacy in the beauty industry!
